The Student Assistant is housed in the Office of the Dean of the School of Science and Technology and reports to the discipline Lab Supervisor and lab course instructor. This individual will perform the duties of a student laboratory assistant in the Exercise Science lab. The lab assistant should have a basic understanding of the physiologic adaptations the body makes when exercising.

• Help to administer physiologic testing during lab classes
• Prep, set-up, take down and clean up the lab
• Take inventory
• Help to maintain the lab equipment
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Must be enrolled in six credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett College.
• Must be in good academic standing and maintain a good academic standing for the duration of employment.
• Must be in good standing with the Office of Student Integrity and maintain good standing for the duration of employment.

• Completion of General Education Areas A, B, and D, with outstanding performance in prerequisite math, information technology and/or laboratory science courses.
• Correspondingly, a desire to either be majoring in a medical or Exercise Science related field is preferred.
