Job SummaryGeorgia Gwinnett College is accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in Political Science in the School of Liberal Arts for the academic year . The posting remains active for AY25-26 hiring (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Part-Time faculty positions are semester-based and report to the Department Chair. Courses may be conducted in face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended formats. These positions are on an as-needed basis and require additional time outside of class to provide written feedback and to meet with students.
Part-Time faculty may teach in the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters. Classes are offered morning, afternoon, evening, and including weekends.
A minimum of a master s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
- 1-year college-level teaching
- Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.
Strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the college and community. GGC values innovative teaching, advising, and mentoring, and advising and mentoring are expected of all faculty.
