Job SummaryThis position will be responsible for preparation and delivery of lesson plans and routine ELI classroom instruction. This position will work with various groups of people, communicate effectively, and work under minimal supervision and under deadline pressures. This position is limited term with an anticipated employment term of up to 12 months.
Responsibilities- 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in ESL, English, Applied Linguistics, or related field
- At least 1 year prior relevant ESL teaching experience
- Graduate Degree/Master's Degree or equivalent in ESL, English, Applied Linguistics, or related field
- Three or more years directly related prior ESL teaching experience
- TESL/ESL teaching certification
- Teaching experience in higher education
KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrated excellent written and spoken English proficiency. Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of students and staff colleagues.
