Job SummaryGeorgia Gwinnett College is now accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in Geography in the School of Liberal Arts for the academic year ). The posting will remain active for AY25-26 hiring (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Part-Time faculty positions are semester-based and report directly to the Department Chair. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid and/or blended formats.
These positions are on an as-needed basis. Positions require additional time outside of class to provide written feedback to students and to meet individually with students throughout the semester. Part-Time faculty may teach in the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters. Classes at Georgia Gwinnett College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.
A minimum of a master s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
- 1-year college-level teaching
- Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.
