Job SummaryThe Department of Counseling, Higher Education, and Speech-Language Pathology (CHS) in the College of Education (COE) is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach classes in our programs. These positions may be available every semester.
Required Qualifications- Master's Degree (SLPA BSEd; Clinical Courses), EdS (Counseling MEd, SLPA MEd), or EdD/PhD (SLPA MEd, Counseling MEd, Counseling EdD, HESA) in one of our department areas:
Counseling, Higher Education, or Speech-Language Pathology. - Work experience in one of these three areas. Preferably 2 years.
- Knowledge of and a willingness to learn effective practices for teaching and/or supervision.
- Education Specialist Degree in one of our department areas.
- Supervision experience.
- Experience teaching in a fully online or hybrid environment.
- Familiarity and experience with practitioner certification requirements in Georgia and nationally.
- Knowledge of national accreditation standards as applicable.
