The Educational Outreach Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Executive Director of Economic Development with managing and overseeing the innovation incubators at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College to include compliance with federal grant funds and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Grant funded position, which ends on August 31, 2026.
- Provides leadership, coordination and direct support to the Executive Director of Economic Development to plan and organize educational outreach to local K12 students utilizing the equipment in the Innovation Incubator to include summer camps, boy and girls club activities, and potential activities for GA Flex participants.
- Plans, organizes, implements, and monitors various continuing education courses in the Innovation Incubator to facilitate exposure to advanced manufacturing, AI, and music production courses for both K12 and adult partners.
- Oversees grant budget based on program proposal, grant guidelines, and budget requirements.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Equipment Used:
Standard office equipment, regular use of college owned or personal vehicle for performance of duties, various types of advanced computer equipment, various types of point of sale and other in-field related equipment. - Working Conditions:
Category III – No foreseen exposure to hazardous chemicals/pathogens. Probability of working beyond the normal shift, but not frequently. Periodic travel between major Wiregrass campuses and satellite sites.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, or a manufacturing-related or music-production field

Salary/BenefitsSalary is $62,000/yr. This position is full‑time and includes standard State of GA benefits such as leave accrual, options for health & other supplemental benefits, and retirement. This position may qualify the successful candidate for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. This position is funded in whole or in part by N/A funds.
Background InvestigationsPursuant to college policy, a thorough background investigation, including a criminal history records check and employment history reference checks will be performed for all candidates offered employment. Other checks such as Motor Vehicle Records may be conducted for any candidate receiving an offer, as well as internal candidates prior to being promoted or transferred into a position with the college.
