Our skilled team expertly manages high-risk conditions such as preterm births and preeclampsia. We’re proud to offer a single-suite OR designed for family-centered cesarean sections and a 6-bed Level II nursery that cares for babies 32+ weeks gestation.
Our nurses are NRP certified and trained in STABLE, ensuring we’re fully prepared to stabilize and transport infants when needed. With high autonomy in practice, our team is supported 24/7 by an on‑call NNP and OB provider, ensuring the best care for our patients. Aboutthe opportunity
This position is responsible for caring for antepartum patients, laboring patients through childbirth, recovery, and postpartum, providing family-centered care including the well newborn. Assure expert, compassionate, individualized nursing care for patients and families expected. Collaborate with providers, staff, and other members of the team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
What you will do- Oversee the daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate ability to triage incoming patient requests for services.
- Deliver patient education to facilitate plan of care, employer-informed healthcare choices, and promote optimal wellness.
- Delegate care appropriately and according to Colorado statute.
- Demonstrate competent healthcare assessment skills, prioritizing skills and critical thinking.
- Handle high telephone volume of patient requests for medications, information, and assistance.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures as needed; consistently adhere to patient safety guidelines.
- Coordinate patient care with other physician practices, Vail Health, and others as needed to achieve the highest possible level of patient care and satisfaction.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Deliver excellent service by utilizing Relationship-Based Care to advocate for safety, patient preferences, and optimal communication through partnering with patients and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.

What you will needExperience:
- One-year clinical experience required.
License(s):
- Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Colorado Registered Nurse license.
Certification(s):
- Basic Life Support (BLS), required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, required.
Education:
- Minimum of Associate Nursing Degree for positions hired after 07/01/2018.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.
Hourly Pay: $37.90 – $60.45 USD
