Vail Health is looking for an organized and motivated Inventory Specialist to help ensure that our clinical teams have the right supplies at the right time. • Maintain accurate inventory levels through restocking, cycle counting, and inventory control for assigned areas.
• Review supply needs, prevent overstocking, and help ensure efficient product turnover.
• Conduct physical counts and investigate inventory discrepancies—updating systems as needed.
• Process supply deliveries by verifying quantities, expiration dates, and physical condition.
• Respond to supply and equipment requests—both routine and urgent—with prompt, professional service.
• Inspect equipment and supplies for expiration, recalls, or defects, and report any issues.
• Help manage bi‑annual physical inventories and assist with reporting for supply tracking.
• Keep all supply areas clean, organized, and well‑maintained throughout daily operations.
• Propose new ideas and assist with department initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all work.

You are detail‑oriented, dependable, and bring a proactive mindset to solving problems. You value teamwork and take pride in supporting patient care—even when you’re not directly at the bedside.

• Preferred: 1 year of experience in healthcare, supply chain, or materials management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and hands‑on environment.
• Must be able to learn and use computers and digital systems within 90 days of hire.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour. Hourly Pay: $20.67 USD - $24.25 USD.
