Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented  Assistant Store Manager  to support store and inventory operations at our edible oil manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in inventory management, proficiency in  Tally ERP , and working knowledge of mechanical and chemical equipment. Familiarity with  5S methodology  and  Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)  is essential.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
Store & Inventory Management
Assist in managing daily store operations including inventory control, stock handling, and material storage
Maintain accurate inventory records using  Tally ERP software
Oversee receipt, issuance, and documentation of incoming and outgoing materials
Coordination & Operations
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Procurement teams to ensure timely material availability
Supervise proper handling and storage of mechanical and chemical equipment in compliance with safety standards
Compliance & Quality
Implement and maintain  5S methodology  and  GMP practices  within the store area
Conduct regular physical stock verification and inventory audits
Ensure proper labelling, documentation, and traceability of all stored materials
People Management
Train, guide, and monitor junior staff and store assistants on standard operating procedures and best practices
Safety & Policy Adherence
Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse safety standards, food safety regulations, and operational procedures

Required Skills & Competencies
2–5 years of experience in store or inventory management, preferably in FMCG, edible oil, or food manufacturing
Proficiency in  Tally ERP  and  MS Office applications
Working knowledge of mechanical and chemical equipment handling and storage
Good understanding of  5S, GMP, and warehouse safety standards
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments

Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in edible oil or food processing industry
Certifications in  5S ,  GMP , or  Warehouse / Inventory Management
