Paralegal

Position Overview:

Paralegal support to partner attorney in delivering legal
services. Position involves due diligence and closing preparation (real estate
purchases and sales); document drafting and calendar/case management
(litigation).

Shift Time:  US Shift  (10-hour shift including a 1-hour break)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, discovery demands, discovery responses and objections, contracts, contract riders, and subpoenas, and more.
Manage and organize legal files and records, ensuring all documentsare up-to-date and easily accessible.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances for attorneys.
Draft correspondence and legal documents under attorney supervision, using templates from existing files.
Monitor and manage case deadlines, ensuring all filings are completed on time.
Assist in the preparation of discovery materials and trial evidence.
Perform general clerical duties such as filing and organizing documents on our practice management software (Clio).

Qualifications:

Proven experience in legal assistance, particularly in case management and document preparation.
Familiarity with legal terminology, document formatting, and case management software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in the afternoon of the US Eastern time zone.
