Data Analyst

We are a R&D company which also provides Integrity Management services in Oil and Gas Pipeline Industry.
We are looking for a Candidate to work as Data Analyst at our Vadodara (Gujarat) office. Candidates with 1-2 years of Data Analysis experience can also apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibility of Data Analyst will generate data reports after Pipeline Integrity inspections. Candidate may also assist Data Analysis Department by providing necessary advisory support to help them understand the underneath meaning of certain data/report:

· Responsible for performing a combination of data analysis generating reports.

· Produce and deliver in a timely manner all general support requests, operational change requests, schedule & reports under tight deadlines.

· Examines and evaluates purpose and content of business requests/reports to develop new, or improve existing format, use, and controls.

· Review’s requests/reports to determine basic characteristics, such as origin, business use case, format, frequency, distribution and purpose or function of report.

· Actively participate in different process improvement and re-engineering project initiatives in order to maintain high quality standards in all the deliverables. Identify system and process improvements opportunities and make recommendations.

· Work closely with other team members and cross functional team members in site office.

Qualifications

· Must have business analysis skill involves gathering requirements from clients and translating them to valid requirements document.

· Must have Microsoft office knowledge (Word, Excel, etc).

· Must have min 1-2 years of proven working experience of Data Analysis or Business Data Analyst in pipeline inspection domain or any other.

· Must have excellent skills in performing large & complex data analysis, data mining, and generating data reports based on requirements by writing python queries.

· Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

· Must have good communication skills (written, verbal, interpretive).

· Must have excellent time management skills.

· Must be able to manage and execute reporting & Analytics projects.

· Must be able to collaborate with internal teams and global clients.

Preferred:

· Foundational knowledge of project management or release management.

· Python programming certification.

· Experience with MS Office Suite and hands on experience in computer operating.

· Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or
Data Analytics and anyone willing to switch into data analysis carrier can also apply.
