Vadodara, India (Work from Office)
Shift Hours : 12.00 noon to 9.00 pm IST (5 days a week)

This Position
We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The Staff Accountant position will work closely with our other accountants and operations personnel across the  global  and handle day-to-day bookkeeping.

Responsibilities
Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.
Supporting the monthly close process with journal entry preparation
Preparing  monthly account reconciliations
Assisting  with tax filings, specifically VAT returns .
Analyzing financial data to ensure proper accounting related to banks, prepaids and accruals.
Adhering to all the accounting rules and regulations.
Performing other duties as required.
Process improvements.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in commerce required
2+ years accounting experience (US / Europe Accounting)
Expertise with tally and google sheets
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Working knowledge on  VAT,  GST and TDS Filings
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
Flexible to work for all branches of the organization
Ability to meet deadlines.
A close observation of accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Outstanding ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting  or Finance required
Proficient in Word and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Sage Knowledge is a plus.
