We are currently looking for a 1st shift assembler to join our location in Vadnais Heights, MN. If you have a mechanical mind and enjoy working with your hands, this could be a great position. • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Organizes parts and subassemblies for an efficient assembly process.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components/products.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying the supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of varied manufacturing experience in Mechanical Assembly
• Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing
• Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day
• Perform repetitive work more than 9 hours per day
• Ability to quickly learn new blueprints and perform all necessary measurements
• Hand/power tool skills (Drill, Adjustable Wrenches, Pliers, Hammers, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE): safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes
