TITLE: Truck Driver
DEPARTMENT: Logistics
REPORTS TO: Logistics Manager
The Role
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, Thistle Truck Drivers are an essential part of our Logistics Team and ensure the safe, on-time delivery of our routes to our distribution centers, so our Delivery Drivers can start their routes on time.
How You’ll Make a Difference- Load/Unload trucks and ensure products are safely stored using a forklift or pallet jack.
- Stack, shrink wrap, and secure pallets, as well as loose items for transport
- Operate the Thistle 26ft truck.
- Deliver and distribute packages and products to delivery hubs in the Bay Area geographies.
- Utilize a smartphone app to route deliveries
- Ensure high-level and consistent communication with the dispatch team
- Practice FIFO principles
- Additional tasks, duties, projects, and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
