On-Call Shuttle Driver CDL Needed

Wage: $26.00 per hour

Location: Vacaville, California

Position: On-Call

Shift: Monday to Friday – 6:00 am to 9:00 am, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Must Haves: Commercial Driver’s License (Class B with passenger endorsement)

• Drive shuttle bus and transport customers to and from the facility.
• Greet passengers and provide assistance with loading and unloading.
• Operate the shuttle bus safely and efficiently, complying with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitor vehicle condition and record malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
• Communicate with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two‑way radio to announce arrivals, delays, coordinate pick‑ups or handle other vehicle or customer issues.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
• Monitor traffic and weather conditions and notify dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
• Report accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
• Treat all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 5 years.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with passenger endorsement.
• Provide a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 3 years.
• One year of experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle preferred.
• Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and varying hours.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment depending on customer volume, shift and season.
• Positive and professional attitude with strong communication skills.

Stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear. Occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 lbs.

Work may include exposure to weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles and moderate noise levels.
