You can work as much or as little as you like as an On‑Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On‑Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.

When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. We also ask for your active engagement by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). If you do not respond to our attempts to contact you, your employment may be terminated. If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment may be administratively terminated.

Your communication and ability to work when the business demands it are critical to success in this role.

Should you be offered a position as an On‑Demand TM, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short‑term structured training schedule. After that, the myTime app is where you can pick up shifts you desire to work.

• Ability to use technology (handheld scanners, Wallet within the Target App) and operate in a store environment with varying tasks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Deliver the guest service experience by adhering to the service standard; greet guests and assist with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to understand and solve their needs; be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services in the store and area to resolve issues and enhance the guest experience.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, in compliance with food safety standards and company practices; minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy.
• Promote and explain Target Loyalty programs and fulfillment services; assist guests with enrollment and activation as needed.
• Assist guests with Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry services; support returns while following Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; stock supplies during store hours; comply with safety policies and training.
• Support Cash Office processes as needed and assist with cash systems.
• Other duties based on business needs.
