Pest Service Technician (Maintenance) – Clark Pest Control

• We are seeking ambitious and energetic Pest Service Technicians who enjoy working independently outdoors to service and protect homes and surrounding environments from unwanted pest activity.
• Maintain a maintenance program to prevent recurring pest activity, similar to the way electricians or HVAC technicians protect customers’ safety and well-being.
• Control pests, weeds, lawn fertilization, tree/shrub care and other agricultural pests on-site in residential accounts.
• Physically inspect residential structures to determine the presence of pests, assess infestation severity and the degree of structural damage.
• Create diagrams and graphs indicating the type, degree and location of infestations.
• Discuss work with residential customers and provide creative sales solicitations where appropriate.
• Coordinate activities with department staff and submit all paperwork and collections daily; perform other administrative tasks as directed by the supervisor (ordering equipment, compiling reports, calling customers, etc.).
• Estimate costs and crew time, schedule work, and account for company funds.
• Maintain company-issued equipment and vehicle in a clean and safe condition.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• No Experience Required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company-paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Stand, walk, sit, bend, crawl, lift and carry for extended periods (in crawl spaces, attics and basements)
• Climb ladders and work at heights, including attics
