Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active CA RN license, BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation certification.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit,

• Work schedule is 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,

• 13-week assignment duration,

• Utilizes Epic EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license required,

• Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience,

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program,

• Current BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required,

• Preferred qualifications include a BSN and five or more years of recent Labor & Delivery experience,

• High-risk OB experience within the last two years preferred,

• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration,

• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery,

• Support high-risk OB cases as needed,

• Team structure includes collaboration with OB/GYNs, neonatologists, and other support staff,

• Position requires compliance with hospital dress code and vaccination requirements,

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers,

• Per policy, travelers may not exceed two years of employment without a 90-day break,
