Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support a $600M pharmaceutical tech transfer facility construction project. The successful candidate will develop, monitor, and manage integrated project schedules across design, construction, commissioning, and qualification work streams—ensuring delivery within scope, cost, and timeline commitments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed, resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent scheduling software).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather progress data and update schedule logic, durations, and dependencies.
- Support risk analysis and scenario planning to assess schedule impacts of design changes, vendor delays, or construction sequencing adjustments.
- Interface with subcontractors and vendors to integrate external schedules into the master project timeline.
- Produce weekly and monthly schedule reports, S-curves, and critical path analyses for senior project leadership and client stakeholders.
- Partner with cost control teams to align schedule forecasts with earned value and budget performance metrics.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and coordinate the resolution of variances or bottlenecks.
- Support project controls functions, including baseline establishment, change management, and extension-of-time claims documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of project scheduling experience on large-scale capital projects (>$200M), ideally in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sector.
- Proven expertise with Primavera P6 and strong understanding of critical path methodology.
- Familiarity with GMP facility construction, tech transfer processes, and CQV (commissioning, qualification, validation) cycles.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Working knowledge of earned value management (EVM), risk management principles, and change control procedures.
- Experience collaborating with EPCM firms and multiple contractor interfaces preferred
