Manager, IT Business Systems Tax – United Kingdom, Uxbridge | Information Technology | Regular

The Manager IT Business Systems Tax will play a critical role in carrying out initiatives of the IT team, partnering with the business, other IT groups and AMS to ensure operational issues are resolved timely, the ecosystem is stable and data integration is accurate, and to provide insight into enhancements (functional and technical subject matter expertise). This role supports the ongoing sustainment roadmap, works with solution providers to ensure scalability, and fulfills growing business needs.

• End-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE tax solutions, with a strong focus on integration with SAP S/4
  
  HANA.
• Deep expertise in direct tax configuration within SAP S/4
  
  HANA and understanding of global statutory tax reporting requirements (including e-invoicing, e-ledger, and SAF-T).
• Collaborate with tax, finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions; lead deployment activities and measure achievement of outcomes.
• Design and support statutory tax reporting solutions across various jurisdictions; manage data integration and ensure accuracy between ERP systems and tax platforms.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and user training for tax systems; act as key subject matter expert for core Tax modules of Thomson Reuters and SAP S/4
  
  HANA.
• Lead change for large-scale multi-site ERP implementations (SAP S/4
  
  HANA, FI, MM) with tax implications; drive efficiency and business process and systems capability development.
• Partner with Global P2P leaders to understand Tax requirements for SAP PTP systems and tools; work with Open Text VIM integration with Tax and S/4
  
  HANA.
• Analyze business needs, identify improvements, define the To-Be state, and co-develop deployment/enablement strategy, roadmap, and plans.
• Develop, implement, and support complex business processes in an SAP environment; design, build, test, and deploy S/4
  
  HANA Finance and related solutions.
• Provide global training and ongoing support for areas of responsibility.
• Contribute to project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication; support data integration across ERP and tax platforms.
• Knowledge of building integrations to meet country-specific requirements in EMEA, Asia, and Latin America via 3rd party integrators.
• Working knowledge of Open Text VIM integration with Tax and S/4
  
  HANA.

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting with IT experience in Thomson Reuters One Source and/or ERP Information Systems like SAP S/4
  
  HANA.
• Proven experience with ONESOURCE Tax Suite implementation and support.
• Strong knowledge of statutory tax reporting (e-Invoicing, e-ledger, SAF-T) across multiple jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data integration tools.
• Experience of working for a multinational corporation; experience in technology implementation and change management.
• Proactive contribution to continuous improvement of technology/business processes; ability to take responsibility for core business systems administration, maintenance, and development.
• Excellent communication and management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
