Role:
The Facility Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the facility is maintained in a satisfactory condition for all required production and manufacturing operations. They oversee Facility Maintenance Technicians, coordinate work orders, and maintain the facility. The ideal candidate should have skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC (certified preferred).

• Oversee building inspections, procuring bids, building operations, leasing and projects as needed
• Delegate tasks and create work lists for Facility Maintenance Technicians
• Develop and schedule regular inspections of HVAC, doors, interior/exterior lighting, roof and general premises
• Maintain building systems including lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety and building security
• Direct Technicians in repairing mechanical equipment as directed
• Maintain maintenance performance log
• Perform electrical work (bulbs/ballast), plumbing, painting and carpentry as required
• Manage keys and access control, keeping records organized
• Coordinate landscaping and snow removal vendors and contractors (HVAC, mechanical, electrical as needed)
• Maintain an inventory list for janitorial, mechanical and electrical supplies
• Move equipment, tools or supplies between properties as required
• Run errands to obtain supplies as needed
• Assign touch-up painting and drywall patching duties as needed
• Handle miscellaneous troubleshooting and problem solving
• Monitor utility usage and participate in building energy management

• 3+ years of industrial building maintenance preferred
• Experience in a supervisory position preferred
• Ability to read machine prints and assign duties to Maintenance Technicians for machine repair
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Effective communication with teammates
• Ability to oversee team, delegate work, and liaise between Technicians and Project Engineers
• Experience installing piping systems (air, water, steam), industrial electrical installations and control circuits
• Relevant technical knowledge; HVAC certification preferred
• Experience in a production environment using mechanical, electrical and plumbing troubleshooting; utility installations a plus

Compensation is described as a current estimated range; final offer details depend on location, market data, skills and experience.
