Cover‑More Europe

This role is part of our Cover‑More Europe team. Cover‑More Europe provides insurance solutions through a number of different customer‑facing brands across travel, car hire, specialty, and pet sectors in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the rest of Europe. What

You’ll Be Doing
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements with a focus on both process improvements and robust data needs.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and feedback sessions to gather, validate, and refine both functional and data‑specific requirements, aligning stakeholder expectations.
  • Work closely with PM’s, local SMEs, and global data governance leads to ensure accountability and timely delivery of both business and data‑related project deliverables.
  • Help embed audit readiness through thorough documentation of data definitions, stewardship actions, and governance decisions.
  • Support change management initiatives by educating business teams on new data tools, processes, roles, and responsibilities.
Skills and Experience you’ll bring on this journey
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst preferably with a specialisation in Data and a focus on data governance, data quality, or stewardship.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including metadata, lineage, master data and data quality frameworks.
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements, user stories, and governance artefacts.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, particularly in navigating complex or distributed business environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with tools like Excel, Power BI, Visio, and data documentation platforms (e.g., Informatica).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to manage ambiguity through structured thinking.
  • Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR.
Nice To Have
  • Familiarity with enterprise data governance tool Informatica.
  • Experience working in regulated industries or complex data environments.
  • Exposure to data warehouse or BI environments and knowledge of reporting/analytics workflows.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA, DCAM, BCS BA certification) or formal training in data governance.
