This role is part of our Cover‑More Europe team. Cover‑More Europe provides insurance solutions through a number of different customer‑facing brands across travel, car hire, specialty, and pet sectors in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the rest of Europe. For more than twenty years, we have been delivering insurance policies through our distribution partnerships. We know what is important to our partners, and we deliver simple and seamless customer experiences based on our genuine commitment to protection and care.

• Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements with a focus on both process improvements and robust data needs.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and feedback sessions to gather, validate, and refine both functional and data‑specific requirements, aligning stakeholder expectations.
• Work closely with PM’s, local SMEs, and global data governance leads to ensure accountability and timely delivery of both business and data‑related project deliverables.
• Help embed audit readiness through thorough documentation of data definitions, stewardship actions, and governance decisions.
• Support change management initiatives by educating business teams on new data tools, processes, roles, and responsibilities.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst preferably with a specialisation in Data and a focus on data governance, data quality, or stewardship.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, including metadata, lineage, master data and data quality frameworks.
• Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements, user stories, and governance artefacts.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, particularly in navigating complex or distributed business environments.
• Hands‑on experience with tools like Excel, Power BI, Visio, and data documentation platforms (e.g., Informatica).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to manage ambiguity through structured thinking.
• Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR.

• Familiarity with enterprise data governance tool Informatica.
• Experience working in regulated industries or complex data environments.
• Exposure to data warehouse or BI environments and knowledge of reporting/analytics workflows.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA, DCAM, BCS BA certification) or formal training in data governance.
