Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for an experienced Social Work Team Manager within the Fostering Team to work full time with Regional Fostering Services based in London.
The salary for this permanent Social Work Team Manager job is up to £50,000 per annum.
Main Duties:
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to two Team Managers, who in turn manage their teams of Supervising Social Workers and Social Work Assistants.Offer operational support to the Operations Manager and Registered Manager and deputise in their absence.Ensure all records and data are completed within deadlines and to a high standard by staff members.Support the Registered Team Manager in monitoring Schedule 6/7 matters and liaise with Ofsted when appropriate.Supervise social work managers, monitoring progress, timescales, and practice standards.Liaise with recruitment and duty teams regarding foster carer recruitment, assessments, referrals, and placements.Coordinate with therapeutic and admin teams to meet expectations and maintain compliance.Contribute ideas for recruitment and events, actively participating in organizing such activities.Monitor consultation across the service, advocating for changes to ensure growth, productivity, and satisfaction.Requirements of a Social Work Team Manager:
- A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Registered or eligible for registration.
- Experience as a Social Work Manager.
- Ability to motivate a team.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the Region.
