A welcoming and well-established mainstream primary school in Uxbridge is seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Teacher to join their team from April 2026. The role is within Key Stage 1, with the specific year group flexible for the right candidate.

About the Role

As a KS1 Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum

* Support pupils in developing strong foundations in phonics, reading, writing, and mathematics

* Prepare pupils effectively for KS1 assessments (where applicable)

* Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure all children reach their potential

* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

* Work collaboratively with year group colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders

* Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil progress

* Contribute to the wider life of the school community

What We’re Looking For

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

* Experience teaching within Key Stage 1

* Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics teaching

* High expectations for achievement and behaviour

* Excellent classroom management skills

* A reflective practitioner who is eager to develop professionally

* A team player who values collaboration and communication

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
