Job Description:

A mainstream secondary school in Uxbridge is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Girls’ Physical Education to join their team on a temporary basis from February half term until the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality PE lessons to girls across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards sport and wellbeing. You will be joining a supportive PE department with good facilities and a strong emphasis on inclusive participation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum

* Teach Girls’ PE across KS3 and KS4

* Assess, track, and report on pupil progress

* Maintain high standards of behaviour and safety

* Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Have experience teaching Girls’ PE in a secondary school setting

* Be confident delivering a range of sports and physical activities

* Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

* Be enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable
