Salary: Grade 6 from £34,145 to £38,638 inclusive of London Weighting, with potential to progress to £40,757 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution (pro‑pro rata if part‑time).

Position Summary

Brunel’s Research Support & Development Office invites applications for a Research Administrator to support academics in delivering grants, managing procurement and finance, and ensuring ethics administration compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Support academics with grant application preparations, monitoring and reporting in accordance with funder and internal terms and conditions.
  • Assume procurement and finance responsibilities for post‑award activities.
  • Assist academic colleges in supporting key research‑related activities such as ethics administration, ensuring compliance.
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Post Award and Impact and the broader research team.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in procurement and finance within a higher education setting.
  • Experience working with research ethics committees and understanding of research governance.
  • Prior experience in a research support or administration role (preferred).
