Working within our Learning Support team, you will assist in processing the individual costs of High Needs learners and presenting these to Local Authorities for payment approval. The role involves liaison with the Head of Learning Support and Senior Learning Support Assistants to determine the level of support for each High Needs learner, calculating and agreeing costs, preparing the funding claim and liaising with local authorities.
You will monitor and ensure timely payment of invoices, and provide regular reports.
You will need to be well‑organised, with strong administrative skills, and be able to prioritise a busy workload effectively. With strong IT skills including good working knowledge of Excel and the ability to manipulate data, you will communicate effectively with individuals both inside and outside of the College and resolve queries, and have excellent attention to detail. Experience of High Needs learners and an understanding of their funding is desirable.
