Our congregation averages 80 to 100 in weekly attendance and is committed to biblical teaching, prayer, Spirit‑filled worship, and living out the love of Christ in our community. Bread of Life Church is prayerfully seeking a full‑time Pastor who is called by God to shepherd his people. The ideal candidate will be a Spirit‑filled leader who faithfully preaches and teaches the Word of God, provides pastoral care, works closely with the church leadership, and brings vision, unity, and spiritual direction.
Key Responsibilities- Preach and teach the Word of God in a biblically sound, Spirit‑lead manner.
- Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the congregation.
- Shepherd and disciple individuals and families.
- Provide oversight and support for Sunday school, youth, nursery, and other discipleship ministries.
- Equip, encourage, and work with volunteers and ministry leaders.
- Work with church leadership to cast vision and help facilitate church growth.
- Encourage prayer, unity, and spiritual maturity.
- Engage with and serve the local Uvalde community.
- Clear calling to pastoral ministry.
- Agreement with Spirit‑filled, non‑denominational beliefs.
- Strong character, integrity, and servant leadership.
- Ability to lead with humility, wisdom, and compassion.
- Pastoral and ministry experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to live in the Uvalde area.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- 5 years ministry experience preferred but not required.
Full‑time salary position. Salary and benefits based on experience and church ability. Salary range $45,000 to $60,000 negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
