We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef specialising in Scottish cuisine to prepare high-quality, traditional, and modern Scottish dishes.
The role focuses on delivering authentic flavours, maintaining excellent food standards, and enhancing the overall dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook traditional and contemporary Scottish dishes to a high standard
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain strict compliance with food hygiene, health & safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning, seasonal specials, and local produce sourcing
- Monitor stock levels and minimise food waste
- Supervise and support kitchen staff where required
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and efficient workflow at all times
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef specialising in Scottish cuisine
- Strong knowledge of local Scottish ingredients and traditional cooking methods
- Understanding of UK food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
