What does a Quality Technician Apprenticeship Scheme involve day to day?Over 3 years, this apprenticeship will equip you for a lifetime of forward‑thinking engineering work. You’ll see how we produce JCB Machines and components within time and budget constraints, from design through to building, testing and delivering finished articles, ensuring quality is consistent and right the first time.
You’ll work with external suppliers to improve overall quality performance, attend daily production meetings to contain, investigate and resolve issues, capture opportunities for improvement and utilise cutting‑edge technology. Real, technical skills are learned in an accessible, practical way designed to get you thinking creatively about all our processes.
- Applications are reviewed against the essential criteria; shortlisting occurs, and online assessments are sent from November 2025 to January 2026.
