MIG Welder

Overview

Do you have MIG Welding experience? JCB, the UK's leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment, are looking for keen and talented MIG Welders to join us at one of our sites in Staffordshire. The MIG Welder role comes with a favourable hourly rate of £17.39 per hour.

• Welding in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) using MIG welding of mild steel.
• Read and understand welding drawings.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Complete a client‑specific weld test on‑site at JCB, which may involve a butt weld, multi‑run, fillet weld and a boss weld.
• Work flexible shifts; shift allowances will be paid in addition to the hourly rate where applicable.

• Previous MIG welding experience is essential.
• Ability to read and understand welding drawings.
• High level of accuracy and detail orientation.
• Good timekeeping and attendance record.
• Flexible and willing to work shifts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• An hourly rate of £17.39 from your very first shift.
• Overtime at time‑and‑a‑half, plus additional shift allowance where applicable.
