Eaton Syalon have been retained to partner with a growing, private-equity-backed business in Staffordshire. This is the No.2 to the Finance Director, leading the finance function across multiple entities while working closely with senior management and investors.

You will lead and develop a small finance team and own the delivery of accurate, timely and insightful reporting. Acting as a key business partner to senior management, you will drive financial control, process improvement and system enhancements across the group.

• Lead and mentor the finance teams across multiple entities (team of
  4)
• Deliver monthly management accounts, trial balances and investor packs
• Present financial performance and variance analysis to senior stakeholders
• Produce weekly KPIs, sales/margin analysis and customer profitability reporting
• Enhance financial controls, policies and audit readiness
• Oversee HMRC submissions (PAYE & VAT) and payroll for one entity
• Support operational & commercial decision-making as finance business partner
• Drive automation, system improvements and data/reporting capability

• A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience.
• Experienced in managing a finance function in a multi-entity or multi-site environment.
• Skilled at leading small teams and developing finance talent.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel
• Proactive, commercially minded, and passionate about continuous improvement.
• Bonus 10%
• Hybrid working (3 days on-site)
