Following the acquisition of TPS Rental Systems in early 2025, the company has further expanded its portfolio to include folding IBC units, IBC liners, discharge equipment, and complete turnkey liquid‑handling solutions. With depots located throughout Europe, HB RTS provides customers with local service and rapid support.
About the Role
As Area Sales Manager Benelux, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth for HB RTS in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, with a primary focus on liners. You thrive on generating new business while also identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts. You enjoy being on the road, engaging with customers at all organisational levels, and developing smart, technical solutions to complex logistics challenges related to liquid handling.
The Benelux sales team consists of seven colleagues; one based in Belgium and the others in the Netherlands. You will report to the Commercial Director Benelux.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively develop new customers and markets within sectors such as food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals
Identify new applications for our liquid‑handling solutions and test solutions with (prospective) customers
Analyse customer needs and develop tailored and end‑to‑end solutions
Manage and further develop existing accounts (account management)
Prepare commercial proposals in collaboration with international colleagues and headquarters
Negotiate prices, volumes, and delivery terms, and successfully close deals
Represent HB RTS at trade fairs and promotional events
You will operate from a consultative and technically driven approach, advising customers at both operational and strategic levels on liquid‑handling processes and logistics optimisation. You effectively liaise between production, logistics, and management, building long‑term customer relationships. In more complex sales processes, you will design and implement full turnkey solutions, analysing, optimising, and integrating the entire liquid‑handling chain into the customer’s existing operations.
You will work in a dynamic, international environment within an entrepreneurial and results‑oriented team.
About You
Practical Information
Travel: frequent (2–3 days per week), with a minimum of 1 day per week at the Utrecht office
Your Profile
Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical, commercial, or business‑related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in food processing, cosmetics, logistics, or packaging
Strong hunter mentality with sharp commercial insight
Technically minded and solution‑oriented
Excellent organisational and analytical skills
Self‑starter with energy, drive, and entrepreneurial spirit
Fluent in English (French is an advantage)
