About the role Build financial clarity and control at the heart of Eneve

At Eneve, we operate across multiple European entities and continue to grow rapidly, both organically and through acquisitions. This growth calls for strong financial foundations, clear insights, and disciplined execution.

To support this next phase, we are looking for a Group Financial Controller who operates at the core of the organization and works closely with the CFO. This role combines financial control, reporting, governance, and business insight. You ensure that the numbers are accurate, timely, and meaningful and that they actively support decision‑making by the Management Team and Advisory Board.

As Group Financial Controller, you own Eneve’s end‑to‑end financial backbone at group level. You bring structure, transparency, and reliability to a complex, fast‑moving scale‑up environment and ensure that Eneve is financially solid, scalable, and board‑ready.

You report directly to the CFO and act as a key sparring partner across finance, leadership, and external stakeholders.

What you’ll do

As Group Financial Controller, you own the end‑to‑end financial backbone of Eneve at group level. You bring structure, transparency and reliability in a complex, fast‑moving scale‑up environment.

You will:
  • Report directly to the CFO and act as a key sparring partner
  • Own group financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual close
  • Lead the financial operations team, the month‑end close, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and consistency across entities
  • Produce management and Advisory Board reporting, translating financial data into clear insights
  • Own KPI reporting, dashboards and financial performance tracking
  • Run the annual audit, manage the relationship with external auditors and coordinate internal stakeholders
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and Latest Estimate cycles at group level
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with bank covenants and financing requirements
  • Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and post‑acquisition integration
  • Integrate newly acquired entities into Eneve’s financial structure, reporting and controls
  • Ensure financial operations teams work in line with agreed policies, processes and internal controls
  • Continuously improve financial processes, systems and data quality as Eneve scales

In short: you ensure Eneve’s financial house is solid, scalable and board‑ready.

What you bring

You combine strong technical finance expertise with ownership, pragmatism, and a scale‑up mindset.

  • 5–10 years of experience in Financial Control, Group Control, FP&A, or Business Controlling
  • Experience in a high‑growth, multi‑entity environment (scale‑up, PE/VC‑backed, or international group)
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, and audits
  • Proven ownership of month‑end close and group reporting cycles
  • Comfortable interacting with CFO, Management Team, Advisory Board, and auditors
  • Experience leading or coordinating a small finance/compliance team (2–3 FTE)
  • Solid experience with budgeting, forecasting, and Latest Estimates
  • Familiarity with bank covenants, financing structures, and compliance
  • Experience with M&A and financial integration is a strong plus
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Hands‑on, structured, and able to bring order in a fast‑moving environment
  • Clear communicator who works well across finance and non‑finance teams
Why Eneve?
  • A key role with direct exposure to the CFO, Management Team, and Advisory Board
  • High ownership and real influence on how Eneve scales financially
  • International, entrepreneurial environment with short decision lines
  • Hybrid working, competitive compensation, and strong secondary benefits
