Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Utica, New York
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating / Variable (3x12) – Must be willing to work Days and Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Compensation (Weekly):

• Gross Pay: $2,578
• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246
• W2 Hourly Rate: $37/hr

• Provide nursing care for patients during antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond to any complications.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections in collaboration with the obstetrics team.
• Provide care for newborns immediately after delivery and assist with stabilization when required.
• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic/Stork EMR system.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital policies and clinical standards.
• Float to Mother/Baby unit and possibly Pediatrics or adult units (helping hands if outside scope) as needed.

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:1 – 1:2

• 4–5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Active New York RN License
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience with Epic/Stork EMR required
• Strong experience with Obstetrics (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum), GYN, and newborn care
