Travel ER RN needed in Utica, NY – 13-week travel nurse assignment in a high-acuity Emergency Department caring for patients from newborns to geriatrics. Excellent travel nursing job for ER Registered Nurses with EPIC experience and current NY RN license.

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,100 - $2,210 per week

• Location: Utica, NY 13502 (Central New York / Oneida County — near the Adirondack Mountains)
• Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) / Emergency Department RN
• Assignment Type: Travel (travel nursing job)
• Setting: Emergency Department – 64 beds, including trauma, acute, psych, and pediatric areas
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 27, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (2:30 PM – 3:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Floating: Required (may float to other units)
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

• Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Department (ED) RN experience with pediatric exposure (pediatric emergency nursing)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active New York RN license (NY RN) — all RN licenses must be verifiable via NURSYS
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC must be in hand)
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Ability to provide two recent ED Charge/Manager RN references
• Skills checklist matching ED specialty; charge RN capability highly preferred
• Valid driver’s license with address matching demographic information

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care across the lifespan: newborns, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Triage and manage acute, high-acuity presentations including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Perform and assist with specialty interventions and equipment (e.g., Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun)
• Float to other units as needed and support multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and emergency nursing skills in a fast-paced ED setting
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC EMR and participate in quality improvement initiatives
