Medical Surgical Nurse - Night Shift

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

This position is for a Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse providing care to adult patients post-surgery. Common diagnoses include abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity. The role requires floating to different units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-surgical patients.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Current and active New York RN license with verification through NURSYS.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Documented travel experience is required.
• Skills checklist matching specialty.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with matching address.
