Nurse America is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a travel assignment in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). This role is ideal for nurses with strong IMCU/PCU backgrounds who are comfortable caring for high-acuity adult patients across multiple specialties.
Unit Details
- Unit:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) - Beds: 64 (including designated Neuro beds)
- Patient Population:
Adult patients - Common Diagnoses:
Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV Stepdown, Post-Operative - Specialty Equipment:
Temporary pacers, Chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo - Vent
Experience:
Chronic vents with RT support - Floating
Required:
Yes - Scrub Color:
Navy Blue
- Minimum 2 years of IMCU or PCU experience
- Active New York RN License
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Experience with Epic EMR
