Nurse America Healthcare is seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse for a high-paying travel assignment in Utica, New York. This is an excellent opportunity for NICU RNs with strong Level II/III experience who want competitive pay and a supportive clinical environment.

Compensation & Schedule

• Weekly Pay: $2,800 - $3,100/week
  • Estimated $1,246 stipend (tax-free)
  • Estimated $1,554-$1,854 W2

  • 12-Hour Nights
  • 12-Hour Days
• Overtime:
  • Daily OT after 24 hours

Unit Details

• NICU beds: 8-13 (private rooms + overflow bay)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1 to 1:3
• Charting system:
  Epic
• Floating:
  Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, or adult units (helping hands if outside scope)

Requirements

• Active RN license (NY or compact eligible)
• 3+ years NICU experience required
• Level II or Level III NICU experience strongly preferred
• BLS and NRP required at submission
• PALS and STABLE required prior to start
  • (Candidates may apply if willing to obtain before start)
• Epic experience required

Travel Notes

• 75-mile radius rule applies
• Local candidates accepted (local rate applies if within 75 miles)
• No on-call required
