Position Overview

Nurse America is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse for a Float Pool travel assignment in Utica, NY. This role is ideal for adaptable ICU nurses who are comfortable floating across multiple units and managing diverse, high-acuity patient populations.

Patient Population & Equipment

Common Diagnoses:
Stroke, Sepsis, Altered Mental Status, Neuro Interventions (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surgery, Trauma, Major Post-Operative Surgical Cases
Specialty Equipment: IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP Monitoring, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM)

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Active New York RN License
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
Strong ability to float across critical care and medical-surgical units
Experience with Epic EMR
