Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: March 9, 2026
Location: Utica, New York

Schedule: 8:30am–9pm shifts

Highlights:

• Work in a high-acuity, 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient populations including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Gain experience with critical diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun cooling systems
• EPIC EMR system in place for streamlined documentation
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred for those seeking leadership opportunities
• Exposure to multiple ED zones: acute care, triage, super track, trauma, clinical decision unit, and behavioral health

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric patient exposure
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Floating to other units as needed
• Valid driver's license
