Job Opportunity – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: March 9, 2026
Location: Upstate New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM; 12-hour shifts; floating required as needed

Highlights:

• 64-bed progressive care unit with 15 designated neuro beds serving adult patients
• Diverse case mix including cardiac, neuro, trauma, respiratory (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Specialty equipment experience: temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune wound therapy systems
• Chronic vent support with respiratory therapy collaboration (patients unable to wean)
• EPIC EMR system in use
• Travel assignment with potential for local candidates

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required; multi-state license verification via NURSYS
• Minimum 2+ years of recent IMCU/PCU experience required
• Documented travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license
