Team Health has an excellent, full-time opportunity for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our emergency department team e's Campus - Mohawk Valley Health System in Utica, New York. The emergency department at this Level III trauma center has an annual patient volume of 41,000. The emergency department provides 36 hours of physician coverage and 20-30 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage daily.

St. Luke's Campus is a designated Stroke Center that has 24 hour interventional radiology and orthopedic coverage, as well as several back-up specialties. Qualified candidates must have prior emergency medicine experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

Mohawk Valley Health System Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare is a 379-bed hospital with a 29-bed emergency department. This facility has an annual volume of 41,300 and a designated Stroke Center with CT scanner. We have a dedicated staff of emergency medicine physicians, nurses, excellent EMS, lab technicians and EKG technicians. The emergency department provides 36 hours of physician coverage and 36 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage daily.

Our facility consists of a Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accredited Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) Accredited Comprehensive Center, labor and delivery with a Level II nursery and maternal child services, oncology inpatient unit, surgical and ambulatory services, total joint orthopedic program, rehabilitation and nursing center and senior network health.
