Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM

• Floating to other units required

• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed

• Navy blue scrubs required

• Care for patients with common diagnoses including neurological, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients

• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems

• Experience with chronic ventilators required (unable to wean patients with respiratory therapist assistance)

• EPIC EMR experience required

• 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience required

• Travel experience required

• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Active NY nursing license required

• Patient demographics: 18 years and older adults

• Unit capacity: 64 beds total with 15 designated neurological beds
