Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM

• Floating to other units required

• Navy blue scrubs required

• 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience required

• Travel experience required

• Required certifications:
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS report verification

• EPIC EMR experience required

• 2 recent IMCU Charge/Manager RN references required

• Skills checklist matching specialty required

• Care for patients 18 years and older in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds

• Manage common diagnoses including neurological, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions (COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post-op)

• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo systems

• Manage chronic ventilator patients unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance

• Block scheduling availability but never promised or guaranteed
