Family Medicine Program Director in Central New York

Lead the next generation of Family Physicians as Program Director of an established residency program in Central New York. This is a rare opportunity to assume a respected leadership role with robust institutional support, outstanding faculty, and a longstanding record of accreditation success. You'll have the autonomy to shape resident education while enjoying the benefits of a balanced clinical and academic schedule.


What We Offer You:

  • Established Residency Program: Over 45 years of ACGME accreditation with Osteopathic Recognition
  • Robust Team Support: Work alongside two dedicated Associate Directors and engaged faculty
  • Protected Time for Leadership: 0.6 FTE administrative/teaching with 0.4 FTE clinical practice
  • Stable Resident Complement: 30 residents in a 10/10/10 model with strong institutional backing


Who You Are:

  • MD or DO, board-certified in Family Medicine
  • Minimum 3 years of GME teaching and/or administrative experience
  • Eligible for or holding a New York medical license and a DEA license
  • Familiar with ACGME standards and requirements


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting Salary: $320,000-$400,000
  • Sign-On Bonus: Enjoy a $100,000 sign-on bonus
  • Generous Time Off: 240 hours annually, plus CME allowance
  • Comprehensive Benefits: medical, dental, vision, malpractice with tail, and retirement plan with tiered match up to 4% contribution
  • PSLF Eligible: qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
