The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available, and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, handling replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by creating quality handcrafted beverages and food, prioritizing the guest s needs over tasks
• Uphold Food & Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards
• Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, labeling, backstock, and related tasks
• Maintain awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks
• Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent experience while driving efficiency and maintaining food safety
• Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time
• Maintain an inviting dining area for guests all day
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations per Starbucks standards
• Produce items to specifications and follow department routines
• Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items
• Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space
• Follow packaging and labeling guidelines for food products and food safety requirements
• Identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and handle per best practices
• Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders; follow perishable inventory procedures
• Execute sampling best practices
• Create a welcoming guest experience by greeting and engaging with guests
• Know the tools, products, and services available to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Complete required Starbucks trainings related to quality control; demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Work safely at all times and identify hazards; comply with safety policies and best practices
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up with adherence to applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience is preferred but not required

• Ability to communicate using multiple devices and handheld scanners
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment

The following basics are expected: accurate cash handling when needed, ability to lift up to 44 pounds, flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, and ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.
