CNC Machinist-Night Shift

Overview

Smith Brothers Tool Company established in 1981 manufactures a variety of tool fabrication solutions for the Space, Aerospace, and Defense Industries. We are a premier machining, weld fabrication, and tooling shop that provides in-house design, engineering, building, and certification capabilities. Design and tool fabrication includes assembly tools, lay-up tools, large and small checking tools, mill fixtures, and more. Some of our customers include Boeing, Bell Helicopter, GE Aviation, and Honda Aircraft Company.

CNC Machinist/Operator

• Performs set up, adjustments and operation of the CNC Milling Machines.
• Able to run the machines independently
• Must be able to read blue prints
• 3 axis and 5 axis machining experience a must.

• Good math and communication skills
• Must understand deadlines and impact on the overall business
• Detail oriented
• 5 or more years experience with CNC machines required.
• Experience with Fidia C20, TPI 2000, Fanuc OiMD, Siemens and Fadal machines required.

• Previous experience in the Aerospace industry a plus
