CNC Machinist

Smith Brothers Tool Company established in 1981 manufactures a variety of tool fabrication solutions for the Space, Aerospace, and Defense Industries. We are a premier machining, weld fabrication, and tooling shop that provides in‑house design, engineering, building, and certification capabilities. Design and tool fabrication includes assembly tools, lay‑up tools, large and small checking tools, mill fixtures, and more. Some of our customers include Boeing, Bell Helicopter, GE Aviation, and Honda Aircraft Company.

We are looking for the right person to join our team!

• Set up, adjust, and operate the CNC Milling Machines.
• Run the machines independently.
• Read blueprints accurately.
• Operate 3‑axis and 5‑axis machining equipment.

• Good math and communication skills.
• Understand deadlines and impact on the overall business.
• Detail oriented.
• 5 or more years of experience with CNC machines.
• Experience with Fidia C20, TPI 2000, Fanuc OiMD, Siemens, and Fadal machines.

Previous experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
